QUEEN BREEDING

We have been breeding queen bees for more than 30 years. Our queen bees are of high quality (Carniolan honey bee – Apis mellifera carnica). Queen bees can also be ordered in advance. The demand is large, so make sure you order them early enough by phone: +386 1 755 12 82. 

PRODUCTION OF FOOD FOR BEES

We manufacture high quality STIMI candy. The candy contains powdered sugar and yeast (protein source). The bees use candy only for their own nutrition and maintenance of the brood and do not carry it into the honey stores.

PRODUCTION OF HIVES AND OTHER WOODEN EQUIPMENT

We have been producing wooden products for more than 20 years. We produce beehives, spare parts for beehives (window screens, cross bars, bottom boards for the LR beehive, covers for the LR beehive, intermediate floors for the LR beehive, LR boxes), frames, comb boxes, swarm catchers, feeders for plastic bottles, frame holders and test meshes. Beehives are produced from waterproof materials and adhesives

PRODUCTION OF WAX FOUNDATIONS

Our wax foundations are cold-rolled and UNBREAKABLE. 

The wax, used for our wax foundations, is sterilised in advance for 30 min at 120°C.

You can also exchange wax for wax foundations (in stock all through the year are: the AŽ, LR standard, LR2/3 and DB wax foundations). If you need wax foundations in special dimensions, you can order them in advance by phone and determine the date of production. The price of processing wax into wax foundations is €1.25 per 1kg and of processing into custom wax foundations €1.30 per 1kg.
